Reverend Duverney Bermudez, M.Div., M.A., is Vice Rector of the College Seminary of the Immaculate Conception at Saint Andrew's Hall and an adjunct professor of Pastoral Theology at Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology at Seton Hall University. Father Bermudez earned his B.A. in Philosophy at Mount Carmel Seminary in Restrepo, Meta, Colombia in 2004. In 2006, he began his theological studies at Immaculate Conception Seminary at Seton Hall University. He graduated in 2010, earning an M.Div. in Pastoral Theology and an M.A. in Systematic Theology. In the same year, Father Bermudez was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Newark and was appointed a parochial vicar of Saint Luke's Church in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ, where he served for two years. In 2010, Father Bermudez was also appointed a translator, and a year later, an advocate in the Metropolitan Tribunal of the Archdiocese. In 2012, Father Bermudez was appointed Vice Rector of the College Seminary of the Immaculate Conception at Saint Andrew's Hall, where he currently serves. Father Bermudez is presently pursuing his M.A./Ed.S. in Professional Counseling with emphasis on family therapy, at Seton Hall University.
